Have an iPad? Thinking about using it in your classes? Two sites that I’ve recently found describe very useful Apps to help the teacher and learner do all sorts of things. The first is this presentation which, if you can get past the first slide, provides a quick overview of 75 different Apps – almost all of them jewels. And the second is from ISTE’s Feb 2012 Leading & Learning with Technology. It is written by a Physical Education teacher and some of the Apps are designed for the field (ie. calculating BMI, etc.) but the others can be directly applied to the classroom or research environment. Take the time to peruse the offerings and let your creative juices flow.
(PS. Thanks to John Mikton and the ECIS ICT Committee eNews for the link to the presentation.)
